Bio:

How does the son of a voodoo practitioner become a Christian?  Through the example of a Godly mother.  Jackson’s mother accepted Christ while all her children were under the age of ten.  Unfortunately, her husband left her because of this decision.  The hardship for their mother was a blessing for Jackson and his siblings who are all now Christians.    At the age of 18, Jackson was baptized.  Shortly afterward, he felt the calling of God to plant a church in the community of Vinbal.

Although there was no money, Jackson and his brother started a church.  The brothers farm land which supports not only their own families but their elderly mother and an unmarried sister.  Jackson’s mother is the only medical person for miles.  The Tomothe family provides assistance but does not ask for money.  The money for supplies also comes from the fields they farm.

With three sons to help, Jackson as decreased his farming in order to devote himself to full time ministry.  His desire is to share that intense feeling of love for Christ he has had since his own baptism.  He wants to share that feeling with the 800 people that make up the community of Vinbal.
