Bio:
William Decena is a great example for many around. Married to Alexandra and taking care of his boy Natanael who is now 14 and also seems be a strong witness to the community. William has accomplished much.
William has been a pastor now for 32 years and with G.O. for 28 of those years. He came to G.O. through a revelation he had. God has used William to change a community. Residing in the rural sugar cane area of Batey 9, Barahona DR where streets are not paved and people are in need everyday William is used to help bring the love of Christ to their lives.
William spends much of his day in the community attending meetings, having activities with mostly the youth and creating sports groups. With about 2,500 people living in the area William is striving to see about 300 or more in the church. He is excited about the new church that is being built in which more people will fit and more children can be fed. The nutrition center now is feeding and caring for about 120 kids and he would love that to grow as well as the church.
