On Leading a short-term trip:

I love leading short-term teams! As you gear up for the trip, you get the privilege of sharing with new and potential members what God is doing through this ministry. Being a team leader really gives you a platform to share the stories that show how God is meeting people where they are and bringing them closer to Him.

I love begin a team leader with G.O. Ministries because once we are at our location, G.O. staff really takes over. My job from that point until we get back on the airplane is to be obedient to the G.O. leadership and deal with any personal issues that arise with my team. Although I am still our team leader, I get to fully participate as a team member because G.O. has it all under control!

In over 10 years of partnering with G.O., I’m not sure if I am more humbled by the hundreds of young men and women that I’ve seen radically transformed during trips to the DR/Haiti who are currently living Kingdom minded lives all over the globe, or by the way our God uses this rich fellowship to be a blessing to our Dominican family as God raises a new generation of Dominican world changers.
